Elizabeth Werra is a renowned and established BIM and CAD applications expert who has been working in the industry since 1999. She has traveled throughout the United States and Canada teaching Revit and AutoCAD classes and has made an impact for various companies. Most recently, she finished working on the Denver International Airport Expansion in October of 2013 as their Revit Structure Designer/Draftsperson and BIM expert.
In January of 2012 through October of 2013 Betsy was able to put her skills into a notable project where she was a part of the structural design team for the new Denver International Airport (DIA) Expansion.
Upon completion of her contribution to the DIA Expansion Project, Betsy decided to make a career change and become an independent consultant, where her focus is on working with firms like Design Depictions Structural Engineering. P.C. (since May of 2015) in the establishment of its BIM standards, training, and support. She holds certifications in Autodesk Revit Architecture&Autodesk Revit Structure, which have allowed her to possess the skills and expertise in meeting project requirements for various BIM/CAD deliverables, as well as performing management development training.
Betsy has spoken and taught on multiple occasions at Autodesk University, which is an industry gathering of Autodesk software users. She has delivered many Webinars as part of SE University on various Revit Structure and BIM topics, and has been published in Structural Engineer magazine. Betsy’s focus is to help her clients utilize BIM software the most efficiently and most intelligently in the industry.
